「draw in ～」：～を引き寄せる、という事ですね。
その意味合いでは、attract / invite と同意です

Indonesia’s economy is set to contract for the first time in about 20 years as restrictions to contain the coronavirus  has slowed her business activity.

【インドネシアの経済が、縮小しようとしている、20年ぶりに。コロナ禍終息の為の色々な制限が同国の経済活動を鈍化させてきている】

・be(is) set to～をしようとしている
＝be about to動詞と同じ意味合いです。

・contract ⇒縮小する
「契約する」の意味合いの他に縮小するの意味があります。
※なお、contractは、筋肉の収縮、という場合にも使います。
医療分野に進む人はぜひ覚えておきましょう！

・restricitions制限事項
・for the first time in 20 years.20年ぶりに
・contain は、この場合、問題を収める、解決する

NHK World’s Yuko Fukushima talked to an economist at Itochu  Research Institute who thinks Japanese firms that are set up  in the country are prepared to weather the current environment.

⇒NHKワールドの福島記者が、伊藤忠研究所所属の経済評論家と会談をしました。なお、この評論家の見解では、（in the country⇒インドネシア）に設立された邦人企業は、現在の経営環境を何とか凌（しの）げる対策をしている、という。

Takahashi Shotaro says Indonesia’s young,  growing population offers the companies a promising consumer market in the future even as they face shrinking prospects at home.
「高橋正太郎氏によると、インドネシア国の若い、今後伸び盛りの世代（＝若い世代）が、上記の邦人(日本)企業らに、将来見込みの或る消費者市場を提供するものとなる。仮に、いま現在、インドネシア国内の市場縮小の見通しに直面していても。」

・young, growing population若くて今後大人になっていく世代の人たち
・shrinking prospects 市場の規模縮小の見通し
